Uncovering how behaviour affects use of time

Time is what you do with it. Your unique behavioral preferences affect the things you do with time. As a professional, do you want to be aware of how your behavioral style affects your workplace relationships and the use of your time? Do you want to increase productivity, become more effective, and improve efficiency in all you do? If yes, this workshop is for you.

Our intensive 2-days Time & Personal Effectiveness Workshop combines Wiley’s Time Mastery and DiSC development tools and framework to help you become more productive. Participants are given strategies to gain mastery of their time for improved effectiveness in 12 distinct but critical areas. These critical areas lead to both increased productivity and better work/life balance. Competency in these areas also help you to better understand yourself and others so you can leverage your strengths, mitigate your personal limitations and create a platform for others to do the same. 

The Workshop

The combination of these two effectiveness tools in workshop ensures that participants are not only able to analyse their time management skill gap, in addition to pinpointing specific areas of improvement, but also ensures that the underpinning “Why” behind what participants do with their time and how they use time is more closely understood. During the workshop, participants will be equipped with sound competencies and framework that will enable them to better understand their workplace behavioral preferences. The facilitator will use different activities and modules to help you design your personal development journey and craft strategies for improving your skills in twelve critical areas: Attitudes, Goals, Priorities, Delegation, Procrastination, Analyzing, Planning, Written Communications, Team Time, Scheduling, Interruptions, and Meetings.

Facilitation Tools

The facilitator will use DiSC framework which is a behavioural style preference assessment to help you understand the “why” of workplace behavioural patterns and make sense of the differences in behaviours. Time Mastery Profile® which also will be used is a unique time management tool. It provides participants with a complete, self-directed assessment of current time management effectiveness to help increase productivity, improve responsiveness to opportunities and customer needs, reduce stress, focus on priorities and develop new skills for performance improvement.

Mike Strong

will be facilitating this workshop. He is a certified trainer with Wiley (formerly Inscape), which pioneered the original DiSC® learning instrument over three decades ago. Mike's passion for leadership development grew from his experience as the director of an assessment center. More than 3,000 participants were helped at the center.
